Boundaries & BreznWomen'S Awareness Day
FREE TALKS AND SPECIAL WORKSHOPS
Join us on Saturday, 12 September, for a powerful day of movement, mindfulness, and connection – all designed to strengthen awareness, safety, and your well-being as we kick off the Wiesn together.
KNOW YOUR BOUNDARIES.
Know them. Trust them. You don’t need to justify them.
USE YOUR VOICE.
Through words, body language and practical tools.
WE’VE GOT EACH OTHER.
Look out for one another. Step in. Ask twice. Go home together.
Boundaries & Brezn is our Wiesn Safe Space Day for women, a little love letter from HERSPACE to everyone heading into Oktoberfest season.
Because we want women to have fun.
To dance, flirt, celebrate, drink or not drink, wear whatever they want and take up space.
And to feel safe doing it.
Wiesn can also be a place where boundaries get crossed. So instead of only talking about it afterwards, we start the conversation before it begins. About consent, confidence, body language and sisterhood. About knowing what feels right for you and what to do when something suddenly doesn’t.
And one thing matters a lot to us: the responsibility for preventing harassment should never sit with women. We’re not here to teach you to protect yourself better. We want to give you knowledge, tools and a community that has your back.

YOUR GLASS. YOUR BOUNDARIES.
Navigating alcohol, social pressure & Wiesn season.
FREE TALK with Aydan
WHAT TO EXPECT
What if you want to be part of the Wiesn fun, but don’t actually want to drink? Or simply want to drink less?
This talk is about navigating alcohol, expectations and social pressure while staying true to your own choices. From handling the classic “Come on, just have one!” to feeling confident, connected and having fun without needing to explain yourself.
No judgement, no rules and no right or wrong way to celebrate. Just honest conversation and practical tools to help you enjoy Wiesn on your own terms.
14.00 - 15.30
HOW TO TAKE UP SPACE
Workshop & Pep Talk with Selin
WHAT TO EXPECT
Making yourself small is something you learn. Standing tall, taking up room, saying what you want without softening it first, that’s something you can learn too.
This hour is part pep talk, part workshop. We talk about what the shrinking costs you. Then we work on it in the body. How you stand, how you take up space, what your posture says before you’ve said anything at all.
Selin usually runs Fight Club at HERSPACE, so expect direct, a bit loud, and a lot of energy. You’ll leave with a different feeling in your body, and something you can take straight into Wiesn season.
14.15 - 16.00
Why Do We Smile When We Actually Want to Say No?
Free talk
& Strength/Self-Defense Class with Judith
WHAT TO EXPECT
You feel uncomfortable. Someone gets too close or crosses a boundary – and somehow, you smile.
Why is it often so difficult for women to clearly say “no”?
We start with a 30 minute talk about why it’s often so hard for women to say a clear no. Why staying polite can feel safer than standing up for yourself, and how fear of escalation, social conditioning and self-doubt hold you back. With Oktoberfest coming up, taking your own boundaries seriously is a real part of keeping yourself safe.
After the talk we move from thinking about it to doing it. Safe HER is a mix of self-defense, functional strength training and mental resilience. You’ll learn simple, effective self-defense principles while building physical strength, body awareness and assertiveness. This session works on one specific real-life scenario, so you walk out with something you can actually use.
No experience needed. Just come.

We were taught to sound like this
Understanding and breaking the communication patterns we learned.
Communication Workshop with Helga
WHAT TO EXPECT
Why do so many women soften everything they say? The question mark at the end, the “sorry”, the little explanation nobody asked for.
Helga works in people development and talks with us about language socialization. What it means, how women and men learn to communicate differently, and why women were considered less assertive for so long. That was never about ability. It was about what we were taught to sound like.
Then we get practical. Sentences you can actually say when you want to turn something down or create distance. Don’t debate. Don’t justify. Don’t explain.
You’ll walk out with a few phrases you can use the same evening.
20.30 - 21.30
COMING BACK TO YOURSELF
Pranayama, Meditation & Soundbath with Alya
WHAT TO EXPECT
Wiesn season asks a lot of your nervous system. Loud, crowded, and often that one moment where something feels off and you carry it home with you.
We start with a short talk on what yogic teaching says about these situations. About boundaries, and about what helps you come back to yourself afterwards. This is the view of a yoga teacher, not therapy and not medical advice.
Then a few simple pranayama techniques you can actually use. In a beer tent, on the way home, at 2am when your head won’t switch off.
We finish lying down. Guided meditation with a sound bath, blankets, nothing you have to do.
No yoga experience needed. Come in something comfortable.
